Cathy's place was recommended to us by a friend and boy it did not disappoint! One of the best mud crabs we have eaten in Australia! Cathy provided us with an unique dining experience from the minute we walked in I felt like Cathy was a friend of ours and we were eating at her home! We got the Singapore chilli crab and NT crab they were both delicious! We would highly recommend Cathy's place for those who are open to an homely experience and ready to get their hands dirty!

I had the Mud crab the best dish in that place.. the 1st time I had this kind of crab. Cathy explained and demonstrated the technique to break the shell and eat the flesh of the crab. The way she cooked the crab was awesome. Must try dish and mud crab was available only in this restaurant..

One of our highlights when we come to Darwin!! I'm not sure what Cathy's secret is. She won't tell me. The crab is succulent and drenched in the most amazing chilli sauce. My favourite is NT Chilli sauce. Forget the rest..Go with the best...Cathy's Crabs

So it was my husbands bday we ordered mud crabs for each of us he wanted a chilli NT mud crab mine was garlic butter sauce mud crabOmggg they were fresh literally picked them from the containersCathy’s shared her history with us we shared stories with her while she was cracking the shells for usScenery was awesome eating on the balcony over the water atmosphere was awesomeMake sure you all give this a try we recommend Cathy’s Place for everyone.

Cathy cooks the best crab we’ve ever eaten with a beautiful touch of chilli.Her bubbly character is one that makes us want to come back, and we will when next in Darwin.Thanks for a wonderful dining experience Cathy.

Intimate/romantic settings with no frills. Grab your own beers and wine from the fridge.. choose your own crabs.. choose your own sauce flavours..no music but very friendly and attentive host. That said, we were not here for the music! If you are looking for a mudcrabs experience with nice seaview then this is definitely the place to be! We will be back to try other sauces on the menu. Thanks Cathy!

Great food and service. Cathy stayed open for a late sitting for us, saved a car park and gave great service with her unique style. Crab were amazing . Thankyou Cathy
